For an internet business to succeed online you need to make serious noise in the market place on a consistent basis. You need a high quality product, but ninety percent of your efforts should focus on marketing. If nobody knows about your business it is extremely difficult to succeed. Offline advertising produces high quality leads if you know how to do it right.

The very tough part of offline advertising is deciding where to spend your money. It is very easy to spend all your money on advertising on campaigns which do not work. I suggest you create a few advertising campaigns track and test your results. Based on that you will see which ones are not working and stick to the ones which produce results. You can also increase your advertising spend on these campaigns. The three essential components you need to understand with the different types of media are: which markets the media you choose can reach, the demographics of the media that you choose and the buying habits of the consumers that you reach in that market.

Let us consider the different media outlets that you can use. These include: radio, newspapers, television, trade shows and press releases. Each of these have different advantages and disadvantages. You need to choose the one that suits your business best. For example television is very costly and will suit a big business better. On the hand newspapers are a lot cheaper and will suit a small business.

I suggest that you create an offline advertising campaign. If you have five methods of lead generation then it does not matter if one of those methods are not working as the other methods of lead generation will still be effective.
